Posted by PicasaSome classic P.D. Eastman books for you today.  I grabbed Go, Dog, Go at a library sale - why on earth have people not been taking out this one from the library??  It's basically a must for childhood!!  I love the dog party in a tree.

  2. We love Go Dog Go and Are You My Mother! So fun when the kids were just starting to read to be able to "read" them.

  3. Go Dog Go is pretty much the best P.D. Eastman book ever (but they're ALL great!) -- LOVE that dog party! For awhile Julia and I would always look at each other and say "Do you like my hat?"

  4. P.D. Eastman is fabulous. The fav Eastman title at our house is Flap Your Wings. The determination of those scrawny little birds to keep up with the feeding demand of a huge "baby" alligator (and trying to teach him to fly to boot) is just priceless.

  6. I love the suggestions and I have recently learned how much simple books, especially the way they were written which we now call Vintage, are so appealing to toddlers. I am inspired to hunt in my local 2nd hand bookstore now. Thanks for linking in to the Kid Lit Blog Hop, cheers Julie Grasso
